Saline Eyewash Bottles
- Soft plastic bottle allows rate of flow to be controlled
- This saline solution is designed to rinse eyes in the event of a chemical splash or to clear out foreign bodies. It can also cool and soothe irritated eyes affected by dust and fumes. The saline eyewash is available in bottles or individual eye pods ( Saline Eyewash Pods ). Both formats are designed to make application easier and can be self-applied with the aid of a mirror. The bottles are flexible and allow for flow of the solution to be controlled. Store eyewash with first aid kits and other first aid room supplies, for use in an emergency. Eyewash bottles need to be sterile, meaning that once they are opened and used, they need to be disposed of. Eyewash should also be made available at designated eyewash stations throughout your work site and clearly indicated with appropriate first aid signage.
