"No" Signs

No signs are useful in a workplace to either mark areas to which there is restricted access or to make clear to individuals - whether staff, visitors or members of the public - that certain actions are not permitted in that area. For example, at large events, car parking may need to be controlled and areas where parking is not permitted need to be marked. It may be necessary to restrict pedestrian access to certain areas to ensure the safety of pedestrians and other site users. Organisers of events and employers have a duty to ensure the safety of staff, visitors and the public, and signage is a vital part of doing so.

Our Six Pack No Swimming Allowed Signs can be used to clearly mark areas where swimming would be dangerous. The signs are made of a rigid and durable plastic and are suitable for either indoor or outdoor use. The signs are easy to fix in position and are fully recyclable and environmentally friendly. The plastic is fully water resistant and can be put up in areas that are wet. Our No Pedestrian Access Signs can be used to clearly mark areas where pedestrians are not allowed. For areas in the workplace where it is not appropriate for food to be consumed for whatever reason, our No food or drink sign will clearly inform staff and visitors of this. Health and Safety Regulations of 1996 on Safety Signs and Signals state that prohibition signs must be displayed where certain behaviour or access has to be restricted in order to ensure public safety. The signs conform to BS 5499 and can be positioned anywhere they are required.
