Glow-in-the-Dark 'Not For Use on Electrical Fires' Extinguisher Sign
- Different fire extinguisher types are suitable for different types of fires and, if they're used inappropriately, can actually lead to fires becoming worse. This is extremely dangerous, and a particular risk is electrical fires. If the wrong type of extinguisher is used on electrical equipment, it can cause even more serious problems, so it's important to warn people if your extinguishers aren't suitable.
- This sign can be displayed clearly next to your fire extinguisher, so people will see immediately that it can't be used on electrical fires. It can be seen easily in full light or darkness, thanks to its photoluminescent print. During a fire, there's a risk of lights not working or limited light due to smoke. With this sign, you can be sure people will still be able to read its message.
- For a simple glow-in-the-dark marker to help people find your fire extinguisher, our symbol-only sign gets the message across clearly.
- We produce two photoluminescent implements: Xtra-Glo & Nite-Glo. Nite-Glo (PSPA Class B classification) will stay luminous for 6 hours with a recharge time of 5 minutes in normal lighting. Whereas Xtra-Glo (PSPA Class C classification) will keep gleaming for 24 hours. To ensure you are fully compliant with ISO 16069, you will need to set Xtra-Glo signage in place. Grade of luminescence is suggestive and therefore can vary based on circumstance including positioning of product or the quantity of exposed natural light in the application area.
