Glow-in-the-Dark Fire Exit Sign with Man Running Right Symbol and Arrow
- When a fire breaks out and prompts an evacuation, a number of different factors can combine to make it difficult for people to exit the building safely. Fires often cause power failures, which means the lights go out. Even if this doesn't happen, smoke can severely limit visibility. Limited ability to see combined with the panic and fear people often experience during an emergency can lead to them becoming disorientated and finding it difficult to make their way outside.
- This sign helps people find a fire exit by providing a simple, intuitive instruction that can be followed easily. It glows brightly in low light for over six hours, making it easy to see and understand even if visibility s severely impaired.
- Display this alongside other signs from our fire exit range to maximise safety.
- We produce two photoluminescent implements: Xtra-Glo & Nite-Glo. Nite-Glo (PSPA Class B classification) will stay luminous for 6 hours with a recharge time of 5 minutes in normal lighting. Whereas Xtra-Glo (PSPA Class C classification) will keep gleaming for 24 hours. To ensure you are fully compliant with ISO 16069, you will need to set Xtra-Glo signage in place. Grade of luminescence is suggestive and therefore can vary based on circumstance including positioning of product or the quantity of exposed natural light in the application area.
