  • Robust material that's highly resistant to wear and tear
  • Internationally recognised colour code for full and empty status
  • Easily understood mix of images and words

In some circumstances, connecting an empty gas cylinder in the mistaken belief that it's full can result in a disaster! A simple, yet brilliantly effective method of reducing the risk of full and empty cylinders becoming inadvertently muddled is to use these handy tags to accurately identify each cylinder's current status.

The tags for gas cylinders are made from tough, rigid plastic, which is extremely durable. Not only is it resistant to moisture and temperature extremes, it's also resistant to the effects of many common chemicals.

Labels for the cylinders of gas may be coloured either red or green. Red labels indicate that the cylinder is empty; green tags show that the cylinder is full. This universally recognised colour coding ensures a diverse workforce can see at a glance what the status of each gas cylinder might be. Even if the writing is turned away from the worker or otherwise unreadable, it's still possible to see what the gas cylinder's status is. Further reinforcement of the message is given through a mixture of easily recognisable symbols and straight-forward text.

In addition to these useful gas cylinder labels, we also stock a range of helpful signage, storage and handling accessories which can enable gas cylinders to be safely used, transported and stored in any workplace environment. Even if you need specialist storage for highly flammable gasses or those that are otherwise restricted, we can provide appropriate storage that complies with all relevant health and safety legislation.
