Durable, weatherproof PVC anti-climb strips
- Prevent intruders from gaining access to the grounds of your property by using our anti-climb strips. These protective strips are ideal for use on the tops of fences, walls, garages, gates and even around trees that overhang your property's boundaries.
- These anti-climb strips are made from PVC, which is resistant to extreme weather conditions and incredibly durable. The design of each strip consists of cones that are arranged closely together, forming a spiky surface to keep intruders at bay, whether they are people, cats or birds. Once the potential intruder has reached the top of an obstacle, the spiky surface of the strips catches on their clothes and makes it difficult to grip, with the spikes causing considerable discomfort to hands and other body parts that may come into contact with them while trying to climb up and over the obstacle.
- As an added deterrent before intruders even reach these Prikka-Strips, combine them with our anti-climb paint. Available in tins of 2.5 litres or 5 litres and in black or grey shades, this paint can be simply painted onto fencing or drainpipes. Its non-drying oil-based properties mean that a constantly slippery surface is provided.
- Each individual anti-climb strip measures 48 (W) x 460 (L) mm. The strips can be trimmed to easily fit a specific space or, alternatively, the width can be increased by placing the strips side by side. Once the desired size is reached, the anti-climb strips are easily secured into place using glue, nails or screws. Ten strips are supplied in each pack, giving a total coverage of 4.6 m.
- These PVC strips are coloured brown to blend in with the natural surroundings. This keeps your property protected without using unsightly fixtures that stand out. Not only does this ensure the protective measure does not detract from the look of your property, it also prevents intruders in the act.
- If you prefer to highlight the fact that your property has added protection, display our 'anti-climb products in use' signs in prominent areas around the outside of your premises. Conforming to BS 5499 standards, these security signs warn off potential intruders to keep your assets safe.
