The UK government's Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) encourages and incentivises less waste and more recycling from individuals, organisations and businesses. As part of your business' commitment to recycling and reducing its carbon footprint, it is recommended that your workplace has a range of recycling bins that are clearly labelled with the correct recycling signs. This could include recycling signs for paper waste, household and garden waste, building waste, timber waste, cardboard, general waste and plastic waste.
Conforming to the British Standard 5499 (the Safety Signs and Signals Regulations), these metals recycling signs are clear, use the easily recognisable colour associated with metals (grey), the WRAP 'RecycleNow' logo which is widely used by a variety of organisations including major brands and retailers, local authorities and community groups, and clear white lettering. Acting as both a visual prompt as to where to put metal waste and a reminder to complement your workplace policies, these durable, clear and simple signs will encourage your staff and visitors to recycle more and waste less in your workplace, contributing to a cleaner and more efficient working environment as well as reducing your reliance on resources and helping to tackle climate change globally.
These metal WRAP recycling signs are available in a range of sizes (210 x 148mm (A5), 297 x 210mm (A4), 420 x 297mm (A3), 594 x 420mm (A2), 60 x 250mm or 841 x 594mm (A1)) so you can choose the size that best fits both the size of surface area you want the sign to adhere to and the level of prominence you think it needs to have to be effective in your workplace. Select between two materials (polypropylene rigid plastic or self-adhesive vinyl) to match the type of wall surface and fixings you wish to use. For the self-adhesive vinyl, simply choose a wall that is clean, dry and oil-free for best results.
Quickly knowing which bin to put which type of waste in can make or break your recycling strategy. We also supply a range of different recycling signs to complement your policies.
