The Health & Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996 details that prohibition signs must be displayed to limit certain behaviour and access to specific areas. This fully compliant sign is ideal to place near water to keep employees and members of the public safe.

Use this sign to clearly state that swimming is strictly prohibited. Ideal to place around canals, reservoirs, ponds, fountains, quarries or other bodies of water that may look inviting on a hot day.

This clear to read 'no swimming' sign comes in a variety of sizes and a selection of fixable or self adhesive applications. It is part of our extensive safety signs range, where you can find a number of directional and informative signage.

This 'no swimming' sign displays an effective message to address property policy and safety concerns. While this type of sign is a helpful tool to help protect the health and safety of personnel, it is not a replacement for required protective measures for lessening or removing hazards.

Available in a wide range of sizes from A5 - A3, there will be a sign to fit your display area. Attach to a post, wall or window and ensure that people are deterred from entering the water where it is not allowed. 'No swimming' signs are particularly important to display when harm could come to a person from entering the water. Dangers include extremely cold water, water that is very deep or bodies of water that conceal hidden, moving, sharp or unstable objects.

You should also use a 'no swimming' sign to discourage people getting into pools that are out of use, for example when the water is being cleaned, the pool is closed due to seasonality, or there is no lifeguard present.

Should you wish to advise people of 'no entry', 'no pedestrian access' or 'no parking', please take a look at our other available signs.
