Standard no entry signs
- In any workplace, 'no' signs are useful to mark off areas where access is restricted or to make it clear to anyone in the vicinity - whether staff, visitors or the public - that certain actions are prohibited. 'No entry' signs have a wide range of uses, including closing off areas that may be unsafe for general users to enter. These may be areas with machinery, hazardous chemicals, an environment which presents risks to unauthorised users (such as electricity generators, cold stores or wet rooms), or simply an area which, for security reasons, is out of bounds. Employers are legally bound to protect the health and safety of their staff, which includes making sure that they are aware of hazards in the workplace so they can alter their behaviour accordingly.
- Conforming to both British Standard 5499 on the subject of clear and correct hazard signage, these durable and easy to read signs will help to promote a safer working environment, preventing accidents and injury caused by unauthorised access to hazardous areas. Universally applicable, you can simply attach the sign wherever you need it to prevent access.
