Glow-in-the-Dark 'Fire Exit' and 'Keep Clear' Dual-Message Sign
- Fire exits are sometimes forgotten about, since most of the time they may not be used for anything. Because of this, people have a tendency to leave goods and equipment in front of them, which can cause serious problems if there's a fire. These signs provide a reminder to people to keep the area around a fire door clear, whilst doubling as a highly-visible way to direct people to the fire exit if they need to evacuate the building. The sign displays two messages in one place, each one a different colour to make it more noticeable. It glows for over six hours if the lights cut out, which makes it much easier for people to find a fire exit in an emergency, particularly if the fire has caused power failure. To make fire exits even easier to find, our 3D projecting photoluminescent sign can be seen from all angles, whatever the level of light available.
- We produce two photoluminescent implements: Xtra-Glo & Nite-Glo. Nite-Glo (PSPA Class B classification) will stay luminous for 6 hours with a recharge time of 5 minutes in normal lighting. Whereas Xtra-Glo (PSPA Class C classification) will keep gleaming for 24 hours. To ensure you are fully compliant with ISO 16069, you will need to set Xtra-Glo signage in place. Grade of luminescence is suggestive and therefore can vary based on circumstance including positioning of product or the quantity of exposed natural light in the application area.
