Forklift clamps for plastic or steel drums
- Drums, particularly when full of potentially hazardous liquids, are heavy, bulky and awkward to move in a safe manner. There are numerous other solutions on the market, but if you already have a forklift truck operating at your business, adapting it to handle drums could be the easiest and safest way to relocate them.
- Using a forklift truck to move drums takes the strain out of doing so manually, raising safety levels significantly. To keep areas with forklifts hazard-free, make sure employees and visitors are warned that they may be operating with our forklift truck warning signs.
- Our forklift drum clamps secure to the truck's existing arms tightly, using hand screws. This means they can be added and removed quickly and easily, without needing any extra tools. No permanent adaptations are needed to be carried out on your forklifts, and you don't need to hire a third party to install them. Simply fit them to the forklift when you need to handle drums, and remove them to carry out other work.
- There are specific units available for use with either plastic or steel drums, depending on what you need. If you need to handle both types of drum, keeping each kind of drum clamp available gives you the ability to do so easily. Simply switch them over as required with the simple hand screws and you're ready to go.
- When you have drums that aren't in use, save warehouse space with our secure outdoor drum store. It's a safe and convenient place to keep drums and potentially frees up a lot of extra storage space.
