Strong Plastic And Metal First Aider Badge

PostedComment8 years agoService: Happy with the ease and efficiency of ordering, and customer services were friendly and helpful (I contacted them to ask about delivery date). But marking down from 'excellent' to 'good' because of the over-the-top packaging and delivery process. I ordered one small first aider badge which would have easily fitted into a small padded envelope with plenty of room to spare, and very easily fitted in my post box. Instead it arrived in a large cardboard 'envelope' (which Amazon would have been proud of) that was too large to fit into my quite large post box, and subsequently the postage cost as much as the product I bought. Apparently, it also required a signature on delivery - not sure why for what was a small plastic badge, and as I was not in at the time a neighbour was disturbed to sign for it. She assumed she was signing for something valuable or important. All way over the top. I wonder if delivery would have been cheaper (which I would have welcomed) if the packaging was appropriate to the cost and size of the product and which would have made signing completely unnecessary.
