"Danger X-rays" and "Do not enter" hazard warning signs
- These signs warn employees and visitors of potential X-ray hazards in and around the workplace. The "Danger X-rays" warning sign, featuring the ionizing radiation symbol, and the "Do not enter" warning sign both measure 300mm x 500mm and are available in three different materials.
- The 1.2mm thick polyprop rigid plastic and the 1.2mm self-adhesive rigid plastic options are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, while the self-adhesive vinyl variant is designed for indoor use. The signs offer universal application and can be positioned where required. Drill holes can be added for easy fixing.
- The signs are compliant with the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996. These demand that safety signs must be displayed to advise people to take precautions, or to be careful, where hazards exist. It is mandatory for work places to display the warning signs. The regulations place a duty on employers, in respect of risks to their employees, to ensure that safety signs are in place where appropriate.
