Sand-weighted polyethylene one-piece traffic cones
- Despite their name, road or traffic cones are actually very versatile, with many uses outside of transit control. They're handy to have around for drawing attention to hazards, fencing off doorways or parts of rooms, creating queueing systems, and for sports and games in schools. These coloured cones expand the possibilities even further, coming in shades that are unusual for traffic cones, making them highly visible and allowing colour-coding for various purposes.
- Like our standard coloured cone, these colourful products have sand-weighted bases to keep them upright, even if they're used in windy weather. The sand is fully contained in the hexagonal bases, which provide excellent support and make them sturdy pieces of equipment.
- Constructed from linear low-density polyethylene, the cones are resistant to impacts and are injection moulded in a single piece to maximise their durability. The outside of each cone has a reflective layer around the middle to make them easier to see in darker conditions, which is extremely effective if used on or near roads when drivers have their headlights on. To make them even easier to see, our traffic cone safety lights can be fitted neatly on the top of a cone. The amber lights activate automatically at a certain level of darkness, and two AA batteries power a light for up to four months.
- The distinctive colours of these cones mean you can use them to signify specific dangers by associating them with certain risks. They're also useful if you want to make sure cones stay in certain parts of your business and don't get moved elsewhere, as you can link colours to rooms or types of work.
- Because they stand out so clearly compared to the type of cones people are used to seeing, these products grab attention extremely effectively. This means that they're excellent at keeping people safe or alerting drivers to areas where they should stop, with plenty of time. When not in use, they can be stacked for easy storage, and they'll be ready for whenever you need them.
