Glow-in-the-dark 'any person discovering a fire' action signs
- Knowing the correct procedures to follow in the event of the discovery of a fire is potentially a matter of life and death. Although staff are trained in fire safety, it is both necessary and mandatory to provide a fire action notice visible for all users of your premises, so that everyone will have the clearest message on the actions to take in the event of fire discovery, or on hearing the fire alarm
- These fire action signs provide clear instructions on the actions to take and have blank spaces on them, to enable you to fill in using permanent marker pen and provide local information, such as safe escape routes and assembly points. The signs are easily positioned and mounted, and are available in self-adhesive polyester and rigid plastic versions
- We also stock a more durable Xtra-Glo aluminium fire action sign, which provides an alternative sign more suited to environments where a more hard-wearing sign is required
- We produce two types of photoluminescent implements: Xtra-Glo & Nite Glo. Nite Glo (PSPA Class B classification) will gleam for 6+ hours with a recharge time of 5 minutes in normal lighting. Whereas Xtra-Glo (PSPA Class C classification) will retain luminousity for 24 hours. In order to ensure you are compliant with ISO 16060, Xtra-Glo signage is required. Grade of luminescence is suggestive, and therefore will depend on circumstance including positioning of product or the quantity of exposed natural light in the placement area
