Portable Wireless Vibrating Pillow Alarm
- Relying solely on traditional fire alarms can endanger those who are deaf and hard of hearing. Usually, a sound is the only alert in the event of a fire, which can go unnoticed by some people. This ingenious solution helps ensure the safety of people who are unable to hear an alarm.
- The main unit has a pad attachment which can be placed under a pillow. The device listens for continuous alarms at 75dB, and when a fire alarm is detected, the pad vibrates to alert the user. This is accompanied by flashing LED lights and the unit's display reading 'FIRE'.
- The alarm features 2 options for trigger levels, and it even has a 'learning' function built in. It's quick and easy to set up, as it operates wirelessly and doesn't need installation to work alongside your existing fire alarm system. The unit doesn't need to be connected to the mains, as it runs on 4 AA batteries which are supplied.
