Ultimate Grit Bin with Unique Moisture-Control Seal
- This unique water-resistant grit bin has a rubber seal, so the salt doesn't get damp and is always ready to use. With a 220-litre capacity and 20kg weight, the yellow bin is heavy duty and durable, made from medium-density polyethylene to withstand even the toughest conditions.
- It features a built-in measurement gauge and forklift recesses for ease of use. The measurement gauge is calibrated in litres and kilograms for a simple check on how much salt is required to fill the bin. The forklift recesses allow users to relocate the bin easily, even when full.
- A guide, conveniently placed under the lid, advises on safe and efficient gritting practices. The hinged lid remains upright so your hands are free for gritting, while finger-grips provide effortless lifting when the bin is empty.
- A convenient storage compartment is located underneath the lid, with a clip to hold the shovel (sold separately) so everything you need is in one place.
- The bin is secured from theft by a padlock and central latch, with two latch and clasps on either side, featuring padlock hasps. The padlocks are sold separately.
- There are many optional accessories that can be purchased separately, including space-saving shovels that are ideal to store inside the grit bin, plus rust-proof padlocks that can be used with the grit bins to keep the salt dry and protect from theft.
- Purchase reflective decals to ensure visibility in low-light conditions, while we also stock high-vis waistcoats as part of our range of PPE clothing. Ideal for people working outdoors, they are made of fluorescent polyester, ensuring staff are highly visible and safe at any time of day.
- Our range of clothing also includes Polyco Reflex® Therm Gloves made from crinkle-finish latex with a fleecy lining. These are ideal for staff working in harsh conditions, keeping the hands warm in cold weather, while the medium-duty finish offers superb tear and abrasion resistance.
