Ansell Yellow Thinsulate Cold, Cut and Mechanical Protection Gloves

  • When working in cold conditions, the hands are one of the body parts that's most affected by the environment. As one of the extremities, the naturally feel the cold to a large degree, and they're also more likely to come into contact with cold items and surfaces than other areas of the body. Because of this, effective hand protection is essential, and these Ansell gloves do an excellent job in temperatures as low as -30°C.
  • The gloves have a Thinsulate lining, which, as its name suggests, provides effective insulation against cold conditions in a thin, lightweight layer. It doesn't add excessive weight or bulk to the gloves, keeping the hands relatively free to move and handle objects or perform tasks. The head and face area are likely to suffer from the cold if working in below zero conditions for long periods, so make sure you wear a thermal hood for extra protection.
  • The bright yellow finish of these Ansell gloves makes them highly visible, so they're difficult to lose, and they help keep the wearer safe by increasing their overall visibility. Whenever work needs to be done in low-lighting conditions, it's highly recommended that staff wear sufficient high-visibility clothing that they can be seen clearly, especially if they need to work near roads or where heavy machinery is in operation, as drivers and operators find it difficult to spot people otherwise.
  • In addition to their protection against low temperatures, the gloves also provide a measure of resistance to cuts and mechanical hazards, so they can be used in situations where any combination of these risks are possible. For cut protection in warmer temperatures, the Ansell HyFlex keep the hands safe with their remarkably thin, flexible design.
  • Wearing these Ansell Thinsulate gloves takes the risk out of handling cold items and lets you work freely and efficiently while protecting yourself against the damaging effects of cold conditions. The Ergodyne thermal bib overalls give you general bodily protection against the chill and are a comfortable and convenient piece of workwear that protects clothing worn underneath.
