Slip-Resistant Rubber Linear Metre Switchboard Matting for shock protection
- Switchboards and other high voltage equipment can be extremely risky to use, as electric shocks are a possibility for operators. This matting is a simple but effective way to protect switchboard users, preventing them from being shocked whilst simultaneously increasing their comfort. The matting is also loose laying meaning no installation is needed.
- Constructed from hard-wearing rubber, the matting has a fluted slip-resistant surface to help people maintain a good grip on the ground. The 6mm matting is tested against levels of 11,000v for 450v working protection, while the 9.5mm matting has been tested to 15,000v for 650v working protection.
- The rubber surface provides a more comfortable standing surface, helping to relieve fatigue, and it is easy to keep clean by simply using a pressure washer and a detergent on a regular basis.
