- A spinal immobilisation board is essential for any site where there is a risk of an incident in which someone might suffer a spinal injury. This spinal board is carefully designed to fulfil the requirements should this take place. It is made from strong plastic, making it rigid and capable of carrying a high load. It can be used in an X-ray machine, meaning a patient wouldn’t need to be removed from the spinal board upon arrival at hospital. It is easy to clean, and will resist fluids from a patient strapped on top.
