Photoluminescent Prohibition Signs

Prohibition signs are designed to let the workforce and visitors know what they can and cannot do in the building. This could be due to health and safety regulations or just in-house requirements. The advantage of a photoluminescent prohibition sign is that even if the electricity goes off and the building is in darkness, the signs will still be visible to staff and visitors.

The signs are available in self-adhesive vinyl, making them perfect for applying to windows, doors and other smooth surfaces. The plastic signs can be fixed to the walls if required and are easily removed when no longer needed.

Signs that fall into this category include the ‘No admittance, authorised personnel only’ sign. This is perfect in factories and laboratories where only specific staff should have access to some areas of the workplace. Another sign that should be visible in all workplaces is the ‘No Smoking’ sign. It is against the law for anyone to smoke in any workplace and these signs need to be posted in every section of the building. In many workplaces, it is also important to mark clearly which doors can be used. It may be that employers would prefer to keep certain doors solely as fire exits and if this is the case then a simple ‘No Exit’ sign is perfect. The list of available signs also includes signs that clearly mark which taps dispense drinking water, where mobile phones can be used in the building and where staff are allowed to have food and drink
