Lantern lights are an integral part of working on building and project sites as they provide a source of light during evening hours and illuminate small dark working areas. Having a battery ready charged to power the lights can be frustrating as additional cumbersome charging cables are needed. However, this mains rechargeable lantern torch battery makes life a lot easier.
The battery, which will fit any lantern torch that uses a 996/4R25 battery, plugs straight into the mains electric socket removing the need to carry, find and install charging cables. The unit also has a red LED light that is present as it charges for instant verification that the battery is plugged in and charging correctly. Additionally, removing the need for a charging cable means that the battery cannot be accidentally unplugged by busy workers tripping over or treading on the cable, eliminating trip hazards too.
The battery is very safe to use as it has an integrated charging current control system that prevents the plug from overheating and becoming a fire hazard. You can use any number of these batteries around your project site safe in the knowledge that they are effective and reliable.
At only 0.5p per charge, the battery is a cost-effective choice too. Each battery can be charged up to 1500 times, meaning that they have a long working life and don’t need to be replaced very often.
Yellow in colour, the battery is distinctive and eye-catching, helping to prevent it from getting lost on a busy project site.
The battery works well with our range of lantern torches. For torches that take standard alkaline disposable batteries, browse our efficient Maglite torches.
Ensure safe and reliable working on site in all conditions by using this high-quality and durable rechargeable battery.
