- Colour-coding is compatible with other recycling signs
- Various sizes to suit the space near your waste facilities
- A choice of either rigid plastic or self-adhesive vinyl
Recycling as much waste as possible is an increasingly important responsibility in any kind of business. The government's Waste and Resources Action Programme, or WRAP, is an initiative that strives to maximise recycling by companies, to increase the overall reuse of materials in the United Kingdom. Playing your part means identifying which materials can be recycled and which should go to landfill. To do so effectively, waste should be sorted as people dispose of it.
Our range of recycling signs is designed with colour-coding, which lets people identify which material goes where by glancing at the sign. It can significantly speed up the process of getting rid of waste, particularly in workplaces that generate large quantities. It also encourages people to recycle as much as they can, because it makes it easier for them to see where it should be put.
These recycling signs are suited to bins which are otherwise difficult to identify, particularly in larger outdoor areas. For indoor recycling where space is limited, our stacking bins make maximum use of the room available and they have coloured lids to help people separate different materials.
The sign is available in a selection of different sizes, so you can choose a larger one if it needs to be seen from a greater distance, or a smaller version if your recycling point is more compact. Two materials are available: rigid plastic or vinyl. Both materials are suitable for use outdoors and the durable rigid plastic sign can be mounted on flat surfaces using various fixing methods, such as cable ties. The vinyl sign is flexible, making it suitable for curved surfaces as well as flat and has a self-adhesive backing for instant fixing. It can also be mounted to a board to create your own rigid sign, or used in a multi-message notice.
Once you have your recycling point set up with different sections for different materials, make sure people can find it easily with our 'recycling facility' sign, which has a large standard recycling symbol to help people recognise it.
