HSE announces new business advice events
The Health and Safety Executive has announced a series of events designed to help businesses improve their safety records.
Starting next week, Business Advice Open Days will be held in towns and cities across the UK. The events will be free to attend and according to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), will provide businesses with "free, quality advice and information".
A team of experts will be present at each event to offer advice and support regarding health and safety, starting a new business and supporting business growth and the impact this can have on meeting safety obligations and legal requirements.
According to a statement released by the HSE: "Business Advice Open Days are the largest cross government business support roadshows of their kind, dedicated to providing free information and support to your business."
The first event of the New Year will take place in Birmingham at the Birmingham and Midland Institute on Tuesday, January 10. This will be followed by further free events in Stafford, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, King's Lynn and Greater London.
