Clear Polycarbonate Mini Fire Alarm Call Point Cover

  • Fire alarm call points are one of the central parts of your fire safety system, giving all members of staff a way to raise an alert if they discover a fire. However, if they're accidentally set off or, worse still, operated deliberately when there isn't a fire, they can cause chaos, particularly if your alarm system automatically calls out the fire brigade. These covers are a simple but effective way to prevent accidental alarm operation and limit the risk of vandalism or deliberate misuse.
  • The covers fit neatly over the top of mini alarm call points, covering them with a durable but clear polycarbonate surface. They can be lifted if the alarm needs to be used, but otherwise provide a good level of protection.
  • The covers are available in two different versions: the flush-mounted cover is for call points that are embedded in the wall, while the surface-mounted version is for those which are fixed to the wall and protrude outwards. As long as you order the correct type, they're quick and easy to fit and a spring-loaded hinge mechanism keeps them firmly closed until the alarm is needed.
  • These covers are ideal for use in schools, colleges, hospitals, hotels and any other places where there's a risk of accidental of deliberate alarm operation when there's no fire. They keep you, your staff and your customers safe and ensure the proper response is possible if there's a genuine emergency.
  • Fire doors should also be kept closed and secure as part of your safety measures. Our panic bolt unit is a useful way to make sure these important doors are kept shut, but remain accessible if people need to exit through them during an emergency evacuation. The door can be opened simply by breaking the glass tube with the hammer supplied on a chain.
