Fire Safety In Case Of Fire Break Glass Photoluminescent Signs
- Don’t let fire safety be a worry in your organisation; make sure you are taking all the necessary and legal precautions to protect your visitors and staff should a fire start. After ensuring that your building has all the required exit points and fire safety equipment, make sure you install enough fire alarm and call point signage to ensure that your staff and visitors know what to do if a fire breaks out.
- These photoluminescent signs display clear instructions to users of your building; the ‘break glass in the event of fire’ message can be placed next to break glass fire alarm systems for effective use. The signs are easy to spot at all times; they are supplied in a mandatory green and white – colours that are universally associated with fire safety. If a light source is no longer available – such as in the event of a power cut – the environmentally-friendly photoluminescent surface of the signs will stay lit for several hours, ensuring that the message can continue to remain legible. The fire alarm signs also display a bold pictogram, which further helps to clarify its instructions. These essential signs are made to endure tough conditions; made from a choice of tough vinyl or rigid plastic, they are suitable as permanent signage options for your building and will last many years of normal use without the need for replacement.
- We stock an extensive range of signage to instruct people quickly and clearly in the event of an emergency – minimising the risk of injury. These fire alarm dual message signs display two sets of simple instructions regarding how to raise a fire alarm.
- We produce two photoluminescent implements: Xtra-Glo & Nite-Glo. Nite-Glo (PSPA Class B classification) will stay luminous for 6 hours with a recharge time of 5 minutes in normal lighting. Whereas Xtra-Glo (PSPA Class C classification) will keep gleaming for 24 hours. To ensure you are fully compliant with ISO 16069, you will need to set Xtra-Glo signage in place. Grade of luminescence is suggestive and therefore can vary based on circumstance including positioning of product or the quantity of exposed natural light in the application area.
