Raised features in floors, aisles, and the edges of stairs can easily go unnoticed by people until it's too late, so raising their visibility can go a long way to preventing injuries. This selection of self-adhesive warning tapes is available in many different colour options, which lets you inform people of specific types of hazard by association, or simply make them more visible so that people have time to act safely.
- Before you apply self-adhesive tapes, using our anti-slip floor primer helps them stick more firmly, and is particularly useful for making porous surfaces ready for tapes and signs. After applying the primer, these tapes are quick and simple to fix in place, which can be done either by hand or using an aisle marking machine.
- With all the different combinations of colour and pattern available, the tape can be extremely effective. The OSHA-compliant designs help you fulfil your legal obligations to create and maintain a safe working environment and helping people identify hazards is a significant part of this. For low light environments, the luminous and reflective designs help make visibility clearer, and they can also be useful for marking fire routes, as smoke and power failure can lead to dark conditions during emergency evacuations. If you have particularly dangerous, steep or slippery stairs, our anti-slip chevron tapes can increase their safety and make them easier to see.
- Once it's in place, your highly-visible tape will be long-lasting, as its durable construction is overlaminated for excellent resistance, even in areas with a lot of foot traffic. To get the longest possible life out of it, we recommend treating it after application with our tape edge sealer, which helps to stop the edges from lifting, keeping water and debris out for better long-term adhesion.
