Steel Group Lock Storage Box
- This group lock box, also known as a group lockout box and group tagout box is a storage device that can be used to capture keys or other tools that start a device while maintenance is in progress. At facilities where devices and energy sources need multiple-person authorisation to be accessed safely during maintenance and repair, this box is required as part of lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety procedure.
- Our steel group lock box is powder coated for extra rust resistance. It features a lockable storage compartment that protects equipment from dirt and moisture and a clear Lexan window which means staff can check that all points are locked.
- There is a keyhole slot located in the Lexan window that allows for keys to be accepted into storage, even if padlocks have already been attached. If you do not require the storage facility of this group lock box we also sell durable lockout stations.
- The storage box can hold keys or other tools used to start a device while the maintenance of that device is in progress. Once the maintenance in completed, each person withdraws their padlock to gain access to the contents of the box. The box ensures that the keys cannot be accessed until the last lock has been removed.
