- One-piece, die-moulded plastic ensures lettering and Braille are not worn away
- Self-adhesive backing for quick and easy installation
- High contrast colours also help those with impaired sight to read sign
This Braille sign has been carefully designed to ensure that those with visual impairments can be informed of the immediate floor level they are on. Constructed from one piece of die-moulded plastic, the sign's raised letters and Braille will not be worn away with regular touch. The high-contrast white text on a deep blue background also ensures that the text can be easily seen by those who are partially sighted.
The sign uses grade 1 Braille, which is widely used by Braille readers and will therefore be understood by the majority who read it. Tactile text also helps to provide improved access for blind and partially sighted people and ensures that premises provide adequate aid to those with impaired sight. A full range of floor level signs can be found in our Braille signs department.
