Flammable Liquid Cans
- There are a lot of liquids used in various industries that are flammable, and they need to be stored safely in varying quantities so that your employees have access to them but are kept safe while around them. These flammable liquid cans are the perfect way to store all your flammable liquids, and they come in many different types to suit different purposes.
- All the cans are made from BSC Terne-Plate and tested to BS 1449 Part 1 (1983) for safety and reliability. Our dispensing, tilt, laboratory, plunger and disposal cans are all double-sealed with soldered joints to prevent leaks, and they have flame arrestors built in to stop a fire from spreading if their contents ignite. Although the designs of these cans are extremely good at stopping leaks, it's a good idea to have a spill kit to hand so you can clean up any liquids that might be spilt.
- Other types of can available include bench cans and swab pails, which both have spring-loaded dashers to stop flames spreading, and dip tanks and waste bins, which have lids that automatically close in the event of a fire, extinguishing the flames.
- All of the cans are finished in bright, eye-catching yellow, which maximises visibility. This helps to stop people tripping over or walking into the cans and also makes them easier to locate. Our flammable liquid storage cabinets have the same high-visibility red paint finish and are the ideal choice for storing larger quantities in a safe, secure environment.
- With so many options available, you can store all the flammable liquids you need to, while having peace of mind that they won't lead to fires and other accidents. Each can has a warning notice fixed to its outer surface, which further helps you comply with legal regulations and give people the information they need to stay safe.
