Cylinders are used to contain many different materials, a lot of which can be harmful. This combined with the pressurised contents, means that handling and storage of your cylinders needs to be planned and carried out carefully to keep your workplace safe. These trucks are designed specifically for using with cylinders, and different versions are available depending on the materials you need to transport, so you can ensure you get the most effective truck for the job. A good, stable fit means a lower risk of accidents, as loose cylinders can be extremely hazardous while in motion.
Storing your cylinders in one of our lock-up cages is an excellent way to keep them secure and safe, and because they're lockable, you can restrict access to people with the proper training and authorisation. When you need to restock the cage or move cylinders to different areas, this truck lets you do so safely, with its integrated securing chains keeping the load upright and stable. Specific versions are available for propane, oxygen, acetylene and combinations of these cylinder types. Some of the versions are available with an optional rear wheel, which makes it more stable and easier to manoeuvre while loaded with a cylinder. If you need to move larger quantities of cylinders at once, our heavy-duty carrier holds items on two levels, and doubles as secure storage.
These simple cylinder trucks are coated with a blue epoxy powder finish, which adds durability and helps them stay in excellent condition for longer. This makes them suitable for heavy-duty use in difficult environments and gives them a much longer life. They make moving cylinders a much easier task, and it's not only safer in terms of the potential hazards of a cylinder's contents, but also helps prevent manual handling injuries that can be caused when dealing with heavy objects.
When a cylinder is in place because it's being used, there can be a higher than usual risk of accidents. Our cylinder wall bracket holds them firmly upright and in place, with a chain across the front helping people work safely without disturbing or tipping them.
