Founded in 1970 Safetyshop first began manufacturing vehicle liveries until 1976 when we produced our first safety signs catalogue consisting of just 16 pages. In 1996 we acquired a sign engraving company then in 2002 acquired Focal Signs & Labels Ltd – a bespoke manufacturer of signage solutions. In June 2005, Safetyshop was acquired by Brady Corporation, a market leader in visual identification and safety solutions with operations in Europe, America and Asia.

Safetyshop is now the UK’s number one safety sign manufacturer and major supplier of health & safety equipment. We offer a range of more than 18,000 products at our 34,000 square foot facility in Stockport, Cheshire.

Customised signage solution
As well as manufacturing the UK’s largest number of ISO 9001:2001 regulatory safety signs we also provide bespoke signage solutions.  This is a total in house service helping customers create signage from initial concept through to manufacture.  For over 40 years we have helped businesses create bespoke signage solutions ranging from main entrance signs and wall mounted directories to engraved and multi purpose safety policy signs.
