Jack chains are an ideal option for securing tags such as valve tags, but metals containing iron are prone to rust and corrosion. Brass won't succumb to rust, so combined with our brass valve tags, this jack chain makes the perfect solution for a long-lasting tag.

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, and although it can develop a tarnished appearance over very long periods of time, it can't rust, as it doesn't contain any iron. Because of that, this jack chain won't fall victim to the weakening effect of rust as other metals do, and won't need to be replaced all the time to keep the tag it's holding in place. No more disintegrating chains and lost tags means a more effective way to keep valves and other items labelled. It means the chain is suitable for use in areas where water might be a problem or around certain appliances. It also makes it suited to outdoor applications, as it is more able to withstand varying weather conditions.

Adjustable open and close links mean you can adapt the chain to the length you need, giving it far greater versatility. Although it is best suited to valve tags, the properties of brass combined with the quality and adaptability of the chain mean it is ready for use in all manner of different applications, including hanging fittings and other objects, and keeping appliances attached to work surfaces so they don't go missing. As brass is an attractive metal, the chain is also suitable for decorative purposes or any application where it is on display.

Is next day delivery available?

  • Yes, next day delivery is available on any UK mainland order placed before 3:30pm subject to stock availability


Can we have our goods on a Saturday?

  • Yes, stock permitting you can also specify a Saturday delivery.  This does carry an extra charge. For standard items the delivery charge is £21.55, although this is subject to change if you are ordering bulky items.


Can we be invoiced?

  • Yes, certainly. If you are ordering on the website this option is available on the payment details confirmation page. If you are ordering by phone, you can request this option as we provide £750 Instant credit
