  • Light yet durable polypropylene construction
  • Panels fold together for convenient storage
  • Can be linked with another set of panels to create longer barrier

JSP has created the 4-gate work barrier to be a convenient and affordable solution for barricading off hazardous areas or areas in which work is taking place. Each panel within the barrier measures 1000mm high and 840mm wide, and together all four of them weigh just 11kg. This makes the barrier very easy to carry and set up by just a single person, which is ideal for lone workers or contractors.

Since the barriers are fitted with linking mechanisms on each end, it is possible to combine multiple units together to create extra long barriers. We also provide JSP 3-gate barriers which are compatible with the 4-gate variety should you own a combination of barrier sizes and require even greater flexibility. The linking mechanism also means that the ends of each barrier can be clipped together to form a complete circuit if necessary. When not in use, the panels of each barrier fold together in order to allow for easier handling and compact storage. Should you require barriers for mobile use, these are an excellent solution because their ability to fold means that they won't take up too much space in the back of a van or truck.

The JSP 4-gate barriers are available in a variety of colours, allowing you to choose a shade which complements with (or contrasts against if you require high visibility) any existing safety barriers or equipment that you may have. Alternatively, you could use the colour varieties to implement a colour coding system; for example, blue barriers could indicate water works taking place whilst yellow could represent electricity works.

Polypropylene is a very durable material which means these JSP barriers will be very long wearing even when used outside. Do note, however, that since the barriers are very light, there is a risk that they could blow over when exposed to very harsh winds. If you expect to be regularly using the barriers outdoors in extreme weather conditions, you may wish to consider a more heavy duty alternative, such as the JSP titan safety barriers which have central struts and swivel feet to maximise stability.
